As a member of a Rotary club, you have the opportunity to give something back, to give hope to those less fortunate and to make others' lives worthwhile and fulfilled. Helping others is very satisfying and there is that real sense of fulfillment that comes from achieving something really worthwhile. Working with others on such activities is also fun.
The club organises a number of fund raising events during the year, culminating with the Christmas Float which raises many thousands of pounds for local good causes.
