Want to make a difference in your community?

We can help.

The benefits of membership:

New friends

A key policy of the Club is the integration of new members so that everyone gets to know everyone else well, so that all members become friends. This process can be extended through contact with other Clubs, locally, nationally and internationally.

Giving back to the community locally and internationally

Part of the ethos of Rotary is helping others.  This starts at Club level and goes right through to help which spans the world through members based in many countries. Through Rotary, service to local and overseas communities is well organised and rewarding. If you like helping others, Rotary provides a chance to do something worthwhile and make a real difference.

Fun and entertainment

Rotary is fun... a lot of fun. Every Rotary club and local Rotary District arranges meetings, parties and activities that provide a welcome distraction to a hectic life.

Business development

Networking opportunities are endless. Rotary consists of a cross-section from every community and its members come from all walks of life. Rotarians help each other and collectively help others.

Personal development

Membership of Rotary helps the further development of leadership, public speaking, social, business, personal and vocational skills as well as improving cultural awareness.

Keeping informed

Part of the weekly meetings can include a speaker which provides an opportunity to learn something on a variety of current topics.

Worldwide contacts

Every Rotarian is welcome to attend any of the 33,000 clubs in more than 200 countries and geographical regions, if they happen to be visiting the locality. The Rotary bond guarantees a welcome and creates an instant friendship wherever you are in the world.

Personal support

Rotary does not have this in its objects, but the Club certainly does. Members support each other through crises. This follows naturally from the friendships formed.  If you are interested in joining Rotary please click the button below.
