Santa visits Hazel Grove
Hazel Grove families gave generously to Santa and his collectors this Christmas. Their donations were collected over the 10 nights before Christmas and at the Store collections, as Santa visited Hazel Grove. The collectors called at people’s homes and met families at the Stores so that children could say hello to Santa and tell him what they wanted for Christmas.
The money collected by The Rotary Club of Hazel Grove will be donated to two main Charities - Stockport MIND and Independent Options. In addition, several
volunteer groups, which assisted with the collections, will benefit from the dona-tions. These include, The Furniture Station, Cerebral Palsy Society, Norbury Church, local Explorer Scout Units, Walthew House, Alzheimers Society, Signpost and Hazel Grove High School musicians.
The Rotary Club wishes to thank Guy Salmon for providing the towing vehicle to pull Santa’s Float and the residents of Hazel Grove for contributing to the
collections. Happy Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year.
Hazel Grove Rotary Club meets at 6.45pm on Thursdays at the Deanwater Hotel, Woodford
